Uber

Project overview

In summary

After a recent rebrand and the launch of their new app, Uber held an expo at Here East to celebrate the occasion! Uber were assisted in their venue sourcing by the wonderful team at Headbox, who were then also able to point Uber in our direction to assist with the event branding. After several on site meetings between the Uber team and our Creative Director, Edward Currer, we were able to agree on the relevant areas that should be branded in order to make the desired impact and the event a sure success! Recommendations were made to Uber by us, of industry contacts who could assist them with merchandise, AV and event running.

Utilising the company’s new brand image, a series of bold designs were launched across items such as meeting pods, straight fabric frames, pillar graphics, freestanding wayfinding boards and stair raisers across the venue, transforming the blank industrial space.

Due to the vastness of the venue, we strategically used items that would section off areas of the venue by using straight fabric frame systems with double sided prints and meeting pods, to create smaller spaces where the client could engage on a one to one basis with attendees.

In the auditorium, we used large hanging banners to add character to the space, and made a focal point to the stage by supplying a large polystyrene logo, which the Uber team have kept and now installed in their office, showing that branding doesn’t just have to be for one event and can be utilised going forward!
